Tuesday, March 17, 2020

Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital is taking the following measures due to to the ongoing 2019 novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak:

Our highest priority is the safety and well-being of our patients, their family, and our staff. With this in mind we appreciate your understanding and patience during this rapidly evolving incident.

Effective immediately, Visitation is limited to ONE VISITOR AT A TIME, immediate family members only.

Access is limited to the Emergency Room entrance only.

Be prepared for a short health screening and a temperature check before you are allowed entry to the patient floor. Anyone with fever, shortness of breath or any other symptoms relating to the COVID-19 outbreak will be denied entry for visitation THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THOSE SEEKING MEDICAL CARE FOR THESE SYMPTOMS.

Visiting hours will remain at 7am to 9pm for now. No one will be allowed to enter or leave other than during those hours.

If you are experiencing a cough, have fever and/or shortness of breath, we encourage you to call before you present to the Emergency Department so that we can prepare for your visit.

In addition, out of an abundance of caution and the advice of our staff Psychiatrist, our Senior Life Solutions Center will suspend daily operations for the week, March 16th-20th, and a evaluate the situation at that point.

We appreciate your understanding and please know we take great pride in serving you and providing healthcare leadership to our community. Please follow us on social media at https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Hospital/Tyler-Holmes-Memorial-Hospital-1456201121369681/ .
